• Campaign Blasts Guide In-Depth Review

    smallcoverThe following Review is based on the 6.2 Version of the Guide released in February 2009.

    I bought myself the Campaign Blasts Guide by Matt Levenhagen in early 2008 and have used it ever since. I have also become recently a member of the XP All-Inc Membership that completes and expands the whole Blasting Experience.

    The Guide in itself is divided in 4 specific Major Parts with a toal of 21 Chapters.

    • Blasting Orientation:

    Chapter 1 to Chapter 8 introduce us to the whole Blasting System but more than that it introduces us to a Philosophy, a different mindset. Matt quickly informs us that Blasting is a Number’s game.

    We start learning more about Campaign Blasting, its different uses and the fact that “Direct to Merchant” PPC also described in Google Cash is still alive and well. Matt then gives us a “Bird’s Eye View of Blasting” with all the necessary steps to achieve a Blast Campaign (This part, chapter IV, is actually very helpful as it can be used as a future reference when you are in the process of launching your blast. It is indeed a very good step by step summary of the method).

    The next chapters emphasizes on the collection of datas and the importance of being well organized and setting up routines.

    • Markets, Merchants & Keywords

    Chapter 9 to Chapter Chapter 11 detail the process of finding the right markets (affiliate Platforms, in-house Programs etc..), Merchants & Keywords.  A lot of very useful tips are here given to us by Matt in order to better target the right offer and find the good “Action Keywords“.

    • Putting it All Together & Launching

    Once you have your merchants, products and set of keywords ready you need to launch your Blast. Chapter 12 to Chapter 15 take you through the steps from Blasting to Landing pages or Direct to Merchant as well as what your campaign settings should be and ways to improve Google Quality Score.

    • Expansion & Some Loose Ends

    Chapter 16 to Chapter 18 teach us how to expand our winning Blasts internaly and externally. We also have more tips and mindset advises from Matt as well as a very good list of resources including the XP All-Inc Membership I subscribe to.

    CONCLUSION:

    The Campaign Blasts Guide might not be as “Newbie-Friendly” as some other courses but it is definitively a very good system that brings you further than “Google Cash” and that also has a larger scope. More than a Step by Step Blueprint, the Blasting Method, like the “Bum Marketing” Method, is also a Philosophy, a whole new approach to PPC Marketing.

    If you strictly apply Matt Levenhagen’s Methodology you shoul be able to grow a steady business from Blasting “Direct to Merchant”, to Blasting to your own Landing Pages, Blogs & Websites. Furthermore, it makes you a Better Marketer and helps you discover profitable Niches faster than most of the other Methods out there.

    You can decide to only get the Blasts Guide and Basic membership or dig deeper and get the full XP All-Inc experience. It is by far one of the most exhaustive membership I have been a part of with tons of goodies and often updated free material. The Blast Membership also opens you to the XP Forum which is one of the nicest community of online marketers you can find on the web right now. Not only will you get help there you might end up making some real good friends.
